i want to make my hair tooler

I would like to nominate my mother for a makeover. She was a former Miss Kansas contestant and I have always admired her beauty. I would never think that she was anything but beautiful but sadly her world life has taken so much from her. My mom always longed to travel, raise a family and be a wonderful Mother and Wife. Sadly, she was shocked to hear after 20+ years of marriage her husband was seeking divorce. She now had to go back to school, raise the children, work full-time, and start a new life. At the same time, depression, diseases, injuries, and low self-esteem took over. Because she had to do all this she was working 15-18 hour days for years. My mother is a Wonderful lady. She has since found a wonderful man who treats and loves her like she deserves. However the past 13 years have taken a toll on her body. She often cries when she looks in the mirror not recognizing herself. She has developed kidney failure due to all the pain relievers she had to take for migraines over the years, has extremely painful arthritis revenging her hands, and has a neurological disease that sends excruciating pain through her feet all the time. Sadly her dreams of seeing the world are over. Her body is not her own and it saddens me greatly to see her so sad. She cries when she looks at how tired she looks and how her skin saggs on her face and neck. Yet she puts on a happy face for all and continues to be a wonderful lady in the community. She is the Music Minister for our Church spreading her gift of Voice and Music that God gave her. Her voice is a gift of God and it only compliments her true beauty. Please consider my mother Judy Flamer for a make-over. There is so much that I want you to know about my mother and it is so hard to say in 500 words. Hello, i am writing because my mom needs a makeover extremely bad. She is 50 years old and never spends any money on herself. She stays at home and takes care of a 12 year old handicap boy, in which they live on 630.00 a month. Her love died almost 4 years ago, and i would do anything to see my mom happy again. she desperatley needs a new hair style that she has been wanting for years, but doesnt spend money on herself nor knows how to style it.....PLEASE HELP!!!! I myself need a new hairstyle and makeup b/c i have had the same for years, but i am not concerned about me, just my wonderful mother.

I am not an egotist however, when I look at time has done to my face and body, I get really afraid. I recently lost my job after 18 years of faithful service and have been searching for another one for over a year now. When people take one look at me, I can almost tell what they're thinking: what is her expiration date? I don't feel very much different on the inside. I'm intelligent, capable and can think circles around some the young people in charge who turn me down. It's really not their fault it's the culture that we live in that determines who is useful and who should be set aside. I didn't want to focus so much on physical attributes and give in to the shallow stuff however, I could use a little assistance if I'm trying to go swimming in the stream again. Even trying to because a self-employed individual in this economy requires confidence and good looks as determined by societal standards. On my budget it's not easy keeping up. I've done some important things in my lifetime, like caring for 6 siblings while raising my own 2 but, seems like all that was a long time ago and counts for nothing these days. Anyhow I'm still happy about who I am just wish that I could refine the visuals enough to get ahead just a little.

I absolutely hate pictures of myself. I have gained 75 pounds and tried every diet you can think of. I am a single mom in need of looking and feeling good about myself. I should not be 200 pounds and 5'4". I just wish I had the money to get lipo.

This is my amazing 23 yr old daughter and myself 4 yrs ago.She is U.SMilitary and just had my first grandson 11 months ago.

After years of my husband and I trying to have children, and our doctor giving us a 5% chance of triplets on our LAST go round of IVF, we conceived triplets! I look at them everyday and can't believe how blessed I am, and I love them with all of my heart. And then I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself. After 3 months bedrest during the pregnancy, 80 lb weight gain (70 of which has been lost since the babies were born in late Sept 08) and long days of taking care of my 3 blessings...I think a makeover could be just the boost I need to get back to feeling like myself! I have had long hair almost my entire life, and now it's just dull to me, especially since I don't have time to do anything with it. I've always had a vision of how I would look as a mom, and THIS is not it. Please, help me complete my ideal "vision" of motherhood. My gorgeous babies have completed our family, and I would like to give them a gorgeous mom, and my husband a gorgeous wife!

This was just a quick picture of what I wear daily. I am a Child Care teacher for the YMCA. We do not have to have a certain attire, so I am blue jeans and a t-shirt everyday 24/7. I have a 20 month old daughter, and I have gained over 115lbs since the time I became pregnant. Have not been able to use it..since than I have not felt glamorous like i use too. So White t-shirt and blue jeans is how i hide my chubbiness.

Here I am in my baseball hat that I have taken to wearing way too much!!! I just don't want to be seen anymore. Pull the brim low and maybe I won't be noticed. I've stopped going out socially, haven't bought a new thing to wear in over a year. It's like I've just given up. The scary thing is, I got laid off last week, and I'm too down on myself and the way I look, to get out there and look for a new job. I feel a bit hopeless. Will I end up an old woman eating cat food?

This is my life basically. I work at Frisch's Big Boy in little ol Troy. If im not in this uniform I am basically in too little clothes that no longer fit me. I have two beautiful children so I dont really have time to dress nice. After work I stay in my work clothes for at least 2 hours. As soon as i get off of work im thinking what in the world am i going to put on. I love my job as a waitress and Im starting to think that these clothes feel really good on me. What I would like to wear is girly clothes. A pair of heels would be nice. I think that I should dress more MOMMY like. Like no cleavage and not too tight clothes so that my butt doesn't hang out. I would like to get more in style and i want my boyfriends head to turn when he see's me out with my kids saying WOW... she's got style for being a mom. My boyfriend always says that Im beautiful but I think it's time for a change. I want to suprise him one day with a very sexy look that would stop him in his tracks. I find it hard to find shirts that look good on me because of my stomach. I don't think i am too overweight but when you have two kids it's kinda hard to hide it sometimes. I would love to recieve a makeover from you guys. Love April.
