I met Keith Urban!

How I met him ~ Well, it was PURE LUCK!!! We flew into St. Louis early before the show and had some time to kill. My hubby (Ben) remembers Union Station as a fun place he had been before and wanted to walk around for a little. I had been joking all throughout the day ~ Ooo there's Keith ~ Made ya look!!! So when we got to Union Station I left my purse in the car and grabbed the digital camera *joking with hubby again* "You know, in case I run into someone famous...hahaha" Well, that's what happened...We were on the upper level circling back to leave when out of the very tiny corner of my eye....OMIGOSH! Could it be? "IT'S KEITH!" I clammered to Ben. He said "Yeah right! I'm not fallin' for that again." Then I'm like "NO...SERIOUSLY...IT'S KEITH URBAN!" I instantly turned to go up to him, not even realizing he was sitting in the food area. The bodyguard waved me off and said come back in a few when he's done eating ~ I didn't even notice. So in my few mins. of time to kill I frantically scurried around to the surrounding stores begging for a piece of paper and pen ~ I had to hit up 3 stores before someone helped me out! Finally, with paper and pen in hand (Ben had the camera) I headed back to that area where I had seen him. I couldn't quite see the bodyguard (to see if it was o.k. to return) but someone had seen me...Keith, he waved me back over there! I appologized for bothering him, we chatted about coming up from Dallas & where our seats were that night, he joked that "I'll be the one on-stage so you'll know where to find me"...he gave me a hug...chatted with Ben...Congratulated us on our marriage (we we're newlyweds)...took a picture...signed an autograph...ETC. The whole thing lasted about 6 -7 mins. & boy was I was stunned! All I could say (when he left) was OMIGOD ~ OVER & OVER AGAIN! The best part of it all is that NO ONE came up and broke-up the conversation...no one knew it was him until he walked away and they asked me who that was? I've met several celebrities while traveling but NOBODY blew me away like Keith! He was truly genuine & I'm grateful to have met such a wonderful person! ~ Erin Weber Plano, Texas
