A few years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to sing back-up for this amazing legend. This photo was taken in the National Building Museum, right after we had sung together for the President, in the annual show, "Christmas in Washington." Mr. Bennett saw me coming towards him with my camera, hope in my eyes of getting a photo. He was on an elevator, about to leave, and he yelled, "Hold the elevator!" and stopped to get this shot. It means the world to me that someone that talented and legendary is still humble enough to genuinely care about others. Now THAT is the spirit of Christmas.
