We Are Marshall's Matthew McConaughey

After leading the Marshall University football team over to the stadium to warm up for the game, Matthew and director McG attended a press conference where they thanked the people of Huntington for being so warm to them when they filmed We Are Marshall there last spring.

Matthew also explained why he took the role in the movie, saying: "There have been two scripts in my career -- I've made 37 films -- that I've finished the last page and said 'I'm in no matter what.' The very first was Dazed and Confused, which was my first acting job. [Laughs] And then there was this one."
