Berry Almond Supremes

2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
1t. baking soda
1c. butter, softened(NOT margarine)
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
3 t. vanilla
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. cheesecake flavored instant pudding mix, dry
2 eggs
3/4 c. dried cranberries
3/4 c. dried blueberries
1 c. grated dark chocolate
1/2 c. sliced almonds

Combine flour and soda: set aside. Thoroughly cream together butter, sugars, vanilla, and pudding mix. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture just until incorporated. Add in fruit, chocolate, and almonds. Drop by the tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes, until just lightly browned in order to keep the chewy texture.

I believe that this cookie recipe is ideal to celebrate your company's 30th Anniversary because they represent today's awareness that even small steps can mean big changes to our overall health. This cookie contains cranberries, blueberries, almonds, and dark chocolate, all of which contain anti-oxidants...which means that you can enjoy these cookies without feeling quite so guilty!

I've been making Cranberry Almond cookies for years and have always had rave reviews from friends and family. I recently bought a dark chocolate bar with cranberry, blueberry, and almond pieces and liked it so much that I thought it might go well in a cookie. I tried it and had the same rave reviews from everyone that tried it. I hope you like it as much as we all did!
