Blue And Whites

One of my all-time favorite things to do for my family is baking lots of cookies for Christmas Day. Every year, I like to make many different cookies some traditional, but always a new one to try out. This recipe started out as a craisin/white chocolate cookie that the family loved. I have made a few changes along the way and this recipe also seems to be a cookie most everyone enjoys. It is a very simple, yet interesting cookie.

Blue and Whites
2 1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 t salt
1 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1 c butter, room temperature
2 eggs, room temperature
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 pkg white chocolate chips (Ghiradelli)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Cream sugars with butter add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and add to creamed mixture. Add white chocolate and blueberries. Drop by spoonfuls and bake for 10-12 minutes.
