1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 cup of crunchy peanut butter

Drop 1 inch droppings of cookies onto a non-stick cookie pan or spray with non-stick spray first. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are dark golden brown, but not dark brown. Transfer immediately to cool glass plates . Enjoy! (Makes 10-12 cookies)
This recipe is one that I created from my love of peanut butter and my mother's love of brown sugar. I am 22 years old and live alone with my single mother. I love to bake and she loves sweets. Some of our most treasured moments have been in the kitchen while she teaches me family favorite dishes, or while I'm showing her how to prepare new dishes I've learned. Desserts are my favorite to make, especially cookies. I love the smell of comfort they seem to bring and the smiles they bring to my family's face as well. I have seen many recipes that use white sugar to make the cookies with, so I tried brown sugar for a different twist. These cookies have been a hit ever since. They are great to whip up quickly for a party or as a housewarming gift. They're also great to make last minute as a treat for those you love, just like I did !
