This is an old recipe that was passed down to me from my Swedish Grandma MeMa! Since I was 3 yrs. old she would take me into her kitchen to bake cookies for holidays an any other time. I loved her dearly and when she passed away at 97 1/2 yrs. old I was given "the cook book". So every year I take a week and bake all the traditional swedish cookies for the holidays for family and friends. This particular cookie we would make all the time it is wonderful dunked in milk or coffee and it brings back a bit of my grandma everytime!

Nothing pairs better with a glass of ice-cold milk than a sugar cookie, whether big and fluffy or rolled, cut and sprinkled with colored sugar. Upload your photo, add a short recipe and story and send your post to family and friends.
