Snowballs

These cookies were passed down from my grandmother, which were passed down from her grandmother. We used to make these cookies along with six or more other varieties of cookies but I make these throughout the year cause they are so easy and a favorite of my husbands. They seem to get better as they get older too.

2 Cups Butter (unsalted)
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
2 Teaspoon Vanilla
4 Cups of Flour
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
2 Cups of Chopped Pecans or Walnuts
Beat Butter, Sugar, Vanilla. Add Flour and Chopped Nuts. Form Balls and place on cookie sheet with parchment paper. Bake at 350 Degrees for about 20 minutes. When slightly cooled Dust in lots of powdered sugar!
