Shape dough into 1 balls, arrange 3 apart on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten by pressing lightly with a floured fork in a criss-cross fashion. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden. Transfer to wire rack to cool. I am constantly making cookies. I make cookies for every occasion. I make cookie when I am happy, sad, stressed or bored. My friends and family look at me like something is wrong if I show up at an event without a fresh batch of cookies. I like to try new recipes from time to time but I have about a dozen "favorite" recipes I have collected over the years. The recipe I am submitting for the 30th anniversary cookie contest is by far my most requested and best loved recipe. I came to this recipe through trial and error over time and I feel it has just the right combination of texture and flavor to make it completely irresistable and unforgettable. I hope you will enjoy it as much and me and my friends have. I almost always make a double batch and the recipe doubles nicely.
