Chocolate Chip Cookies

This was a cookie recipe I got from my mother. She passed away 8 years ago, but people still ask me for these cookies.

2 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 1/3 c shortening
3 eggs well beaten
4 c flour
2 tsp soda
2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
6 oz chocolate chips

Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingrediants. Add vanilla and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
