No Meringue Lemon Pie Bars

2 C Flour
1 C Butter
1/2 C Powdered Sugar
4 Eggs
2 C Granulated Sugar
6 T Lemon Juice
4 T Flour
1 tsp. Baking powder

Mix first three ingrediants and press evenly in 9x13 pan. Bake 20 minutes in 350 oven. Combine remaining ingrediants and pour over crust. Continue baking for 25 minutes. Cool completely, dust with powdered sugar, cut into small squares.

My dad and mom loved lemon meringue pie and I for the life of me couldn't make it, so I came up with this recipe. I enjoyed making these lemony bars for them up until their passing, now when I make them, it brings back fond memories of sipping coffee, munching and lots of chatting.
