Sugar Cookies
This was a recipe given to me several years ago by a fellow horse enthusiast. It was given to her by a relative in her family that closely guarded the recipe. I believe it has been passed along for about one-hundred years.
1lb. sugar
1lb. flour (plain)
1/2lb. butter
2 eggs
combine: sugar, butter & eggs. Gradually add flour. Use a milk and egg mixture to paint on thin slices. Add a pecan & sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 10 min. Cool on a flat surface.
These cookies are truly addictive, they are wafer thin and delicately sweet. They are always the hit of any gathering.
