Syrup Cookies

Syrup Cookies

4 Cups Flour
3 Teaspoons Baking Soda
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cups Sugar
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Pure Cane Syrup or Molassas

Cream butter with sugar then add eggs and syrup. In a seperate bowl, mix flour with baking soda. Add the flour mixture to the sugar and butter. Mix well and spoon onto to greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 mins.

My husband made these cookies for me one day and he got the recipe from his grandmother. His mother and grandmother used to make these wonderful cookies when he was growing up.
