Put on a Pedestal
Tall ceilings can be a double-edged sword at Christmas. Their soaring height suggests a magnificent Tannenbaum -- but it's pretty darned hard to maneuver a ceiling-high evergreen and secure it in one of those thumbscrew stands. Try a shorter tree on a table; set it in an urn for a powerful vertical presence.
