Mietze Katze

Mietze Katze is German and means "Kitty Cat". When she found us, she came with her sister who was named "Kitty Cat" and was later given to a friend of ours. Mietze loves to sleep in the kids' beds and to claw on my cardboard boxes. She's a good mouser - when she happens to be downstairs where the mice are. She's been with us for over six years now and we love her very much. In the morning she follows me to the kitchen and tells me that she wants some fresh food. She doesn't like the dry food that has been sitting there for a day or so ... She pulls her water dish forward to drink from it - it doesn't matter how far forward she's already pulled it. Sometimes she spills the water and shakes her paw when she steps into it. Then she looks at me as if to tell me to "clean it up"
